Hello! My name is Matt. I am a skilled PADI certified scuba diver based out of Negril, Jamaica. I have been diving since 1988 and have logged over 350+ dives in Jamaica alone. I have seen a lot of environmental changes to the Caribbean reefs in that time period, some good, some bad. That got me involved heavily in different conservation efforts as I wanted to continue enjoying my passion for scuba diving and ensure others, for future generations, would as well.

I am dedicated as a marine life conservation advocate, I work with and support conservation efforts of different resorts and key foundations here in Jamaica to help create awareness for the important projects we are pursuing. They include coral farming to re-grow damaged reefs, fish sanctuary boundaries setup to increase fish biomass and reef growth, Hawksbill turtle nesting efforts to increase the populations among other projects. The collaborative efforts put forth by so many need to be made aware and I am a positive advocate for these different, important and worthwhile causes.

My partners and I operate a 5-Star PADI Dive Resort on the western end of Jamaica called Scuba Dive Today and also run an informative scuba and tourism website on the island called Scuba Dive Jamaica. These sites, along with our other brands, make us a helpful hub of travel information for visitors to Jamaica and scuba divers alike. As a specialty, I provide creative marketing solutions with a focus on awareness and education of our marine restoration efforts to scuba dive shops, dive facilities, resorts and clients around Jamaica and the Caribbean, creating fresh, wonderful, amazing and engaging online content along with specialized web marketing strategies that get attention and real results.

I am an avid marine life photographer and have a huge passion for capturing the underwater world and sharing it with the masses.
